Mall-Based Café Renovation Integrates Enhanced Security and Hospitality

Project Overview

Vericon completed the interior remodel of the Capital One Café within Lenox Square Mall. The remodel involved adding three low walls along the tenant lease line and installing a bullet-resistant store front as the goal of this project was to enhance security while maintaining an inviting atmosphere.

Following Vericon’s work, Capital One’s branding experts incorporated their unique designs into the space. The project spanned multiple phases across a timeline of 11 weeks. Vericon worked on-site for an initial 3-week period, then paused for 6 weeks while the custom bullet-resistant glass was manufactured. The project resumed for an additional 2 weeks to complete the installation and final adjustments. This café location is one of the 50 Capital One Café locations across 18 states and Washington, D.C.
