Project Overview
New Jersey Resources / New Jersey Natural Gas contracted Vericon to construct a new training facility and campus to be utilized for employee training.
The two-story training facility consists of a lecture hall, cafeteria, dispatch controls center, and multiple classrooms and offices. In addition, Vericon constructed a “Safety Town”, which consists of 12 miniature structures that replicate different types of residential dwellings as well as five pre-engineered metal buildings including three pavilions, one maintenance garage and one control building. Many training structures and devices were installed, including virtual reality driving simulator equipment. Safety Town will be utilized by New Jersey Natural Gas to train their field personnel on different scenarios seen in the field.
