Former Restaurant Transformed into North Carolina’s First Capital One Café

Project Overview

Located at The Streets at Southpoint in Durham, NC, this 5,536sf project transformed a former restaurant space into a modern Capital One Café marking the first location of its kind in North Carolina.

Completed over a 29-week schedule, the project included a full interior demolition and renovation into a dynamic hybrid environment that blends banking services with a café experience. The space features new flooring, wall construction, ceilings and lighting along with full upgrades to mechanical electrical and plumbing systems and minor exterior patio and finish updates. The reimagined space balances functionality and comfort offering areas for banking, socializing and productivity, all within a hospitality-driven atmosphere with comfortable seating free Wi-Fi and a curated coffee experience creating a versatile space that supports both customer engagement and everyday banking within an existing retail setting.
